Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this degree program, students will be able to:
1. Identify and explain the roles, responsibilities, and interrelationships of the various disciplines within the broader field of sports management.
2. Apply critical thinking and analytical reasoning to interpret and evaluate information from related academic disciplines—such as business, accounting, economics, and marketing—that influence decision-making in sports management.
3. Describe and implement the key components, processes, and best practices of sports event management to plan and coordinate successful events in diverse sport and recreational settings.
4. Demonstrate the moral, ethical, and professional qualities expected of a competent and responsible sports management professional.
