Behavioral Assessment Team
The Behavioral Assessment Team at Finger Lakes Community College responds to student behavioral and mental health crisis situations when a student is in imminent danger of harming themselves or others. When behavioral assessment procedures are implemented on behalf of a student, notification of a parent, legal guardian, and/or emergency contact may occur.
A follow-up appointment with a member of the Behavioral Assessment Team or a counselor may be required to help the student plan for the remainder of the semester and ensure that appropriate supports are in place.
For questions about the Behavioral Assessment Team, visit the Center for Student Well-Being in Room 3260 or call 585-785-1211. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. After hours, contact 911 or FLCC Campus Police at 585-785-1900.
