1. Explore solutions to visual problems and document the process utilized to get to deliver a tangible product.
2. Submit finished projects using professional presentation techniques.
3. Articulate the needs of a client for the purpose of applying them in a finished product.

1. Direct observation projects.
2. Drawings based on pattern, ornamentation, and/or decoration.
3. Thematic drawing based on memory.
4. Oral explanation and justification of the drawing procedures used by students.
5. Establishing specific parameters to be accomplished in drawing projects.
6. Paper and its effect on drawing approaches with art techniques. 
7. The relationship between the sketch and the final drawing outcome.
8. Developing a created space.
9. Objective and subjective drawing exercises. J. Mixed media drawing.
10. Collaboration in art.
11. Using unconventional supports, tools and/or materials.
