   1. Role of a uniform wall in construction
   2. Water content: shrinkage rate and strength
4. Clay Properties:
   1. Working consistencies, Clay composition, Clay body formulation Physical characteristics
5. Glazes: processes and techniques:
   1. Glaze consistency and application
6. Coil Technique:
   1. Secure construction technique and role of design with coil
   2. Examine effective and non-effective approaches to working with clay
7. Slab Technique:
   1. Hand vs. Machine approach to slab creation
   2. Working consistencies: assists and issues
   3. The consideration of common thematic and design approaches to work.
8. Tiles and Sprig Molding:
   1. Plaster as an assist in Ceramic work. The technique of mold-making.
   2. Vitreous and Non-Vitreous approaches to decoration.
