ART-106 Ceramics I

A study of the basic techniques of ceramic materials, including pinch, coil, slab building and tiles. Finishing techniques based on using glaze and non glaze materials is included. Ceramics as an art form with an emphasis on design and function as evidenced by past and present ceramic art forms. This course carries SUNY General Education The Arts credit.
