Tuition Refund

Fall and Spring Semesters

A refund of paid tuition and fees for courses 15 weeks or more is based on the following schedule:  

  • Approved drop/withdrawal one business day prior to semester start date 
    • 100% of Tuition and Fees
  • Approved drop/withdrawal during 1st week of semester 
    • 75% of Tuition Only
  • Approved drop/withdrawal during 2nd week of semester  
    • 50% of Tuition Only 
  • Approved drop/withdrawal during 3rd week of semester 
    • 25% of Tuition Only
  • Approved drop/withdrawal after 3rd week (20th day) of semester 
    • No Refund 

 

A refund of paid tuition and fees for courses less than 15 weeks is based on the following schedule:  

  • Approved drop/withdrawal one business day prior to semester start date            
    • 100% of Tuition and Fees
  • Approved drop/withdrawal within seven calendar days of start date 
    • 25% of Tuition Only
  • Approved drop/withdrawal after seven calendar days of start date 
    • No Refund

 

Winter Session and Summer Session

A refund of paid tuition and fees for courses less than 15 weeks is based on the following schedule:  

  • Approved drop/withdrawal one business day prior to session start date            
    • 100% of Tuition and Fees
  • Approved drop/withdrawal within seven calendar days of start date  
    • 25% of Tuition Only
  • Approved drop/withdrawal after seven calendar days of start date 
    • No Refund

 

Drop/withdrawal requests prior to the start of classes should be submitted through MyFLCC, visit https://my.flcc.edu/Student/Planning/DegreePlans.

Drop/withdrawal requests after the start of classes should be submitted through https://flcc.formstack.com/forms/dropadd.  

The submission date of the drop/withdrawal request will be used to determine refunds. A verbal notice by a student to an instructor, advisor, or any FLCC staff member does not constitute a formal course withdrawal or drop. Lack of attendance does not reduce tuition and fees.
