Program Learning Outcomes
Accounting careers are always in demand. Financial records tell us how businesses are doing. Accountants help companies stay organized and follow the rules by recording financial transactions.
Our program will help you get a job where you can manage money. You will learn how to do this for businesses, government agencies, or non-profits. You'll also learn skills that can help you start and run your own business!
Upon completion of this degree program, students will have the ability to:
- Maintain a complete set of accounting records (i.e., financial transactions and business communications).
- Analyze accounting information to prepare general-purpose financial statements.
- Use appropriate accounting software to perform accounting and business functions.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior and social responsibility associated with the current best practices in accounting.
