This course examines the role of the professional nurse in pharmacological therapies for physical/mental health problems across the lifespan including an emphasis on a holistic perspective to provide safe patient-centered care.

- Examine the role of the professional nurse in administering common pharmacological therapies for physical/mental health problems across the lifespan.
- Identify pharmacological and integrative therapies for patients with commonly occurring physical/mental health problems to ensure safe patient-centered care.
- Apply knowledge of advanced math concepts for the safe administration of intravenous medications.
