Course Challenge Examinations
Course Challenge Examinations may be offered for college credit at the discretion of the academic department responsible for the discipline of the course for which the challenge examination is being requested. A student may not use a challenge examination to earn credit for an FLCC course that the student previously attempted but did not successfully complete. The student may obtain the Course Challenge Examination form from the One Stop or the academic department. Course Challenge Examination credit is not counted toward residency requirements, is not used in calculating a student’s grade point average, and is included in the maximum allowable transfer credit.
The cost of the examination will be a fee established by the Board of Trustees. This fee is in addition to a student’s regular tuition and fees. The student does not register for, or pay tuition for, the number of credits associated with the course.
