Residency Requirements

In order to be eligible to receive an associate’s degree from Finger Lakes Community College, transfer students must complete a minimum of 50% of their credit hours at FLCC. Students must also complete a minimum of 50% of the credit hours required in the intended discipline(s) of study at Finger Lakes Community College (e.g., Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Horticulture, Tourism Management).

To receive a certificate, a student must complete a minimum of 50% of the credits required at Finger Lakes Community College. A petition for waiver may be submitted by the department offering the discipline(s), on behalf of the student, to the Associate Vice President.
