All courses of instruction at Finger Lakes Community College are registered with the Office of Higher Education of the State Education Department. Finger Lakes Community College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 1007 North Orange Street, 4th Floor, MB# 166, Wilmington, DE 19801; Phone: 267.284.5000. The Finger Lakes Community College Nursing Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. The Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
To be accredited by MSCHE, an institution must provide evidence that it meets the Standards for Accreditation as described on the Commission’s website. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions throughout the United States.
Finger Lakes Community College’s next self-study evaluation is due in academic year 2029-2030.
