PLG-230 Family Law

This course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts of family law including prenuptial agreements, valid and void marriages, annulments, separation agreements, custody and child support, divorce, spousal maintenance, paternity, adoption, family offenses, and child protection. Emphasis will be placed on the preparation of necessary documents, filing procedures, and interview techniques. Offered on a regular rotating basis.

  2. Apply the elements of family law to the preparation of various legal documents.
  3. Prepare a Judgment Roll based on a given fact situation.
